In the first book of the Frey Saga by Melissa Wright, we are introduced to Frey. Unknown to Frey, her magical elfin powers are bound. She thinks she is a freak in her village, being the only elf that cannot use magic. A series of events changes everything, and Frey finds herself running for her life, accompanied by a man she cannot take her eyes from.
